I (Subhash.K.U) personally feel that one cannot code practically using Java without knowing how to think in an object-oriented way. Most programmers who start to code in Java are those who have had experience in C programming or other procedure-oriented programming languages. The way you have to code in Java is totally (and completely) different from the way you used to code in a procedural language like C. This paradigm shift needs a change in the thought process. That is what I teach in my Java course called â€“ Object-Oriented Thinking With Java and J2EE.
